Semi = X2 or an (X3 if you can find one).
O/U = Browning Citori
At least that is how I would play it.

Train and train hard, you might not get a second chance to make a first impression!

I would suggest a Benelli Super black eagle II. You can get one for under 1400.00 in black. If you want camo it will be a little over 1400.00. It is a very soft shooting gun for a 12 gauge and easy to clean as it has a two piece receiver. Most of all it also shoots 3 1/2 inch mags so if you wanna do some goose with it you can.

I just found a NIB Beretta 391 teknys for 900- I'm tempted... real tempted.
I'm no longer tempted... its on its way to the house as we speak.
During my search, I've found a Red Label for $650! I'm tempted again.

The Beretta is in! I've also booked a late season Iowa pheasant hunt, good times are coming!

Nice !
Been thinking of getting one myself.

I'll post all about it when I get a chance to go shoot it. I love my other 391, but I coudnt pass up this deal on the Teknys. It retails for 1400 or so. I think now I might trade my other 391 for a 20ga to round out my shotgun choices.

congrats Sixto - I'm partial to my Benelli Super Black Eagle (only semi-auto I've found that comes in the left handed variety). However, I pheasant hunt with a buddy that swears by his Beretta. Have fun in Iowa!

The SBE is a nice gun indeed. A bird gun is such a personal thing though. I'd love to get one, but they just dont do it for me.

I hear ya Sixto - My shotguns changes depending on what I'm hunting. Pheasant, ducks and geese will normally meet their demise with my SBE. However, quail, chukkar and upland game find themselves on the wrong end of my 20 ga Beretta Silver Pigeon. The rest of my shotguns rarely get used. However, that new Franchi side-by-side looks very promising!!!

I like Silver Pigeons too. One of my bosses has one in 20ga, its a sweet shooter for sure.
I was readng about that Franchi sxs, it sounds like it might be a good gun. I'm glad some companies are trying to bring the sxs's back.

After trying a bunch over the years, I setted on a Ruger Red Label, English stocked, 20 guage with 26 inch tubes. It's now my favorite, fast and true.

I like the Red Label, I have one in 12ga. A lot of the shotgun snobs look down on the Red Label, I guess they have had a few problems over the years, and they dont have any purdy pictures scratched in them... but I like 'em plain anyway.

I figured you would go for something like this:

It looks like it gives a whole new meaning to fun(as long as you're behind it!). I suppose if you're trying to feed the entire neighborhood you can just sweep an entire flock of geese.
