I am just as much a shotgun fanatic and I am a handgun nut...but I would go with a 20...I recently purchased a Rem1100 20gauge and love that little thing...I have shot skeet with it, doves, rabbits, pheasant...it isn't heavy and if you didn't hear it, you can hardly tell it goes off....
OR i'd recommend you buy a Browning citori 525 sporting grade II with briley tube sets for all gauges...
Or maybe a Kreighoff K-80 with a matched barrel set....
