What do you guys think of these AK's?
I found this websitehttp://neverenoughguns.com on gunbroker. They look like a nice looking rifle to me. Its a family run company, they build the rifle for you when you order it. I guess it only take a few day to ship. I spoke to the owner yesterday very nice guy, and very knowledgable. I am interested in the all black furniture model with the collapsabe stock. Tell me what you guys think.

Looks like an AK to me. Personally I would go for an Arsenal, Krebs, or Vepr K if I could find one.
Yeah I like Glocks, wanna fight about it!

Well, you can only tell so much from looking at photos.
Looking at the enlarged thumbnails his work sure looks good to me.
His "finish work" is super nice and the descriptions sound very honest and straightforward.
My suggestion would be to give him a call and shoot the bull with him for a while. Ask some questions.

If they shoot like how they look then I think you'd have a very good buy.
It appears they put some time and care into building these rifles!

Hey...just a guess on my part that a person that gives that much attention to detail into the final finish is not going to put that sort of extra effort into a crap assembly job.
So I think you would be getting a fine shooting, functional firearm from him.

I have a Romainian AK and put my AK together like thiers. I even used the same furniture. Its a great shooter. The only thing I see is that you might want to put on a three way rail system over the bolt cover. Also if you are going to buy one, see if he will throw in the old furniture as a plus. Its good to have around the house as a backup in case you want to change things around.

I'm with the members who mentioned 'Arsenal', and AMD-65. I love my Arsenal SLR-95. Milled receiver. I have spare parts for this baby. Looking at what these models sell for these days, this firearm alone has been my best investment ever made. Yes---I shoot it also! I've no experience with the other model AK's out there, and mine is the only one that interests me and I haven't kept up with the recent times or availability. There was a nice SLR-95 listed on gunsamerica.com a couple of weeks ago if anyone's interested.

The price seems reasonable and they look good IMHO.
If I were allowed by Mrs. Miggy, I'd get another rommy.

Keep in mind that most of those are $500+ and built from Used Romanian parts............
For $100-$200 more you can get brand new with a Factory Warranty.

There haven't been any "new " Rom. kits imported in quite a while.
Note that in his descriptions he rates the kits used as "excellent ,very good, and good". Even if he squirreled away a bunch of new ones - at some point he would be
decreasing his profit or running out of kits.
His workmanship and finishes look great , I'm just saying that a Factory rifle
is more of a sure thing.

AK, let me get your opinion. I want a nice reliable, decently accurite, well built AK. I am looking to spend 300-500. For both plinking and a SHTF gun. What do you suggest?
