    Euc,

I use the technique that you describe for the over top loading, but I also practice keeping the rifle held to my shoulder with the support hand and feeding the rounds into the chamber with my strong hand. I have not done it on the clock to see which is actually faster though.

Also, I practice stuffinh rounds in the tube using both strong and weak hand techniques.

I know I’m gona get flack on this one BUT the Hi-Point 9mm carbine rocks !!!!
I got the 995 with compensator and Laser for under $240.
Shoots great and is accurate. I know this is a cheap gun but just the same a good carbine.
I did have to redeem myself so I also bought a nicer carbine.

This is my “Nicer” carbine, The legendary Thompson “Tommy Gun”, If you can’t stop something that’s attacking with 50 rounds of .45 acp save the last one for yourself.
Beautiful but a bit on the heavy side, Recoil is tamed by the weight and shoots great.
The pic is a joke about UPS, They had lost another document and I was showing my thoughts on their inaptness in delivery, Last winter UPS lost a $1000 ebay payment and almost blew Christmas for a ebay buyer.

Side note: I bought the Hi-Point 995 and the Thompson to have a couple of Rifles to shoot at the indoor range that are the same caliber as some hand guns I own.
