Cant see any real advantage to a .410 shotgun other than the fun factor. Even with .410 slugs, its still pretty limited ballistically.

I still think the Saiga 12 AK shotgun is a better option. !0 round box magazines and the caveman simple ak manual of arms and reliability

It doesn't have to the mostest practical to be cool in my book. If I had enough disposable income, I'd put it on my list. Perhaps an HD gun for the Mrs...Shot, Shot, Slug, Slug, Slug, Repeat.

Doubt it would feed, and I wouldn't put a .45lc through my .410 single shot. 410 slugs pack about the same punch, so I'd go that way. Probably a smoothbore too, so the rifled slugs might be more accurate, which is fairly pathetic, in my experience with them. Fine for across the living room though.

Rabbit hunting would be cool but we are limited to 6rds in the gun, which sucks.

Not enough power for me. I've known a few old timers up here that have used .410 slugs on deer. They loose way too many

Maybe not the ultimate anything, but I want one!
