Even without doing the trigger fix (which I have not attempted yet but may in the near future) it is an excellent weapon and I have no regrets purchasing one. The trigger isn't awful...it's just not as good as other triggers but it still functions and is controllable, it just takes a bit of practice to get used to. After putting 100 rounds through mine I was already pretty used to it and how it felt and it will only get better with practice.

I've got the Kel-Tec version that came with a CX4 mag...

I don't have the Beretta carbine, but I have the SUB-2000 that takes the CX4 (92) mags. MecGar makes very nice 18 round flush fit mags for either carbine....

Hey Marshall ......... 14 posts in over two years - heck man - time we saw you drop by more often

We have a few fans of the sub 2000 here - in fact it is still one of my ''fun guns'' on the inevitable list, tho whether I get one is another matter!

Think of it as an investment..

Money spent on firearms is never lost. It is a way of investing. If you ever really need the money, you can always sell the gun and get your money back, and maybe with interest.

I really wouldn't worry too much about the trigger job. Yes, I would like to have one done on my 9mm Cx4 but like others have said, it's not the worst trigger I've ever pulled and with practice becomes very manageable.

You will not regret buying one of these carbines.

LOL I know!! The problem is that I don't have the money. Well I do - but I don't. Know what I mean?? haha That gun is just so... damned.. good looking. And it comes in .40S&W.. Mmm... 165gr JHP Speer Gold Dot in a carbine...

I've gotten to the point where I'm considering trashing my plans to get an Romanian WASR to pick up one of these babies.

    You're right!

Darn. Woe is me. Two awesome firearms. I guess I'll just have to shoot both of them equally and often to show them my love. [/sarcasm]

Hey...I've really fallen in love with my CX4. It is an excellent firearm. Just a real pleasure to shoot and accurate too.

I love my Cx4 9mm. It's my HD gun along with my Mossberg 500. finally got a TLR-1 light on it.
