Just bought a Remington 870 Marine.

Made friends with the sales manager. He offered to sell it to me for just a few dollars above his cost, which he showed me. Thank you.
I had a very nice conversation with the salesman (different person) as we were filling out the paperwork. I will start a new thread with some of the stories/comments/insights that he provided.

Normally sold for $678. He took 10% off so the cost was $611. I think his cost was like $607. Then I had to pay $10 for the background check...even though I have a CHL yada, yada, yada.
As I was taking the picture for the forum, I heard a "bump in the night". Even though it was unloaded, I took it with me to investigate. (Had my EDC on me, just in case.) Turned out to be my daughter's gerbil doing some wheel acrobatics in her cage. The gerbil was unimpressed that I had a shotgun in my hand.

It will last well beyond your life time. 870's are fun guns to own. I think no home should be without a strong pump 12ga.

I picked up one of those last year. Put a pistol grip buttstock on it shortly after and a nice sling. The extended mag is nice. She's ready to go.

Wow, nice gun but kinda spendy, sportsman's sells it for $580.00 and I thought that was too much.
