Lots of pictures over on ar15.com
I've got iron sights on my rifle right now - I plan on an Aimpoint and a magnifier in a flip mount. That's my solution!

A flip mount magnifier is a good solution. If you have a rear BUIS the optic will have to go forward far enough to make room.
I don't know about the Aimpoint, but with EOTech you would need to have rails on your handgurad. The standard hanguard will not let the optic slide far enough forward. You could go the quad rail rout or get a JP Rifles tube handguard, and put on just the rails you need.
I have the JP handguard on my AR-10, and like it.

If you don't protect your self, who will?
Check out Larue Tactical. LaRue Tactical They have several mount/optic combos at great prices. You may also want to check with Grant here on the forum. He owns G&R tactical and usually has solutions to problems such as yours.

brian06,
You're one step ahead of me, you have an AR on the way! Make sure to let us know what extras you end up getting.
los,
Thats one sweet setup. I especially like the (beta??) drum. How well does it run? I've always wondered if there might be feeding issues with a split drum like that.

Well I got my AR an now i have also bought a aimpoint red dot, a 10x scope an am really thinking hard about ordering a eotech tonight. that should take care of my optics problem! right?
Then you'll just need a separate upper for each optic, and some extra lowers to mount those uppers to...

Mine 16" is wearing a Trijicon Reflex II (I love it). I prefer to keep it simple:

Los,
Great...Now I'm not going to be able sleep tonight...trying to figure out how to get all those trick parts!! Seriously....very nice rig!! Exactly the way I want to trick out my Bushy M4...Especially like the 557 with 4x optics.
One Sweet Rig!

Thanks for the kind words.
Here's a few additional close-ups of the optics....

What we've got here is failure to communicate.
EOTech 557 without and with 4X Magnification.
The day was overcast/cloudy when these photos were taken, so images do not appear very bright. But check out the clarity of the magnification. You can identify individual bricks on the exterior wall of the House.
Distance to the House is easily 200 yards. Probably closer to 250 yards.
