Noveske N4 Light Carbine
I just took delivery of a Noveske N4 Light carbine. The pics are not up to snuff but the rifle sure is! This is the best made AR type rifle that I have ever handled. It came in after training today so I didn't get to shoot it yet. I'll post comments and better pics then

I can't help but think that Noveske is going to do for the out of the box AR type weapon what Kimber did years ago for the out of the box 1911 type pistol. I have an issued Colt M4a1 for work so I can do a side by side comparison with the Noveske. Other than that extra position on the fire control selector, there is little difference between the features list of each rifle. When it comes to the fit and quality of the components of the two, there is no contest. The N4 wins hands down. It is absolutely overbuilt and feels far more solid in the hands than the M4a1 does. My group will be getting additional select fire SBRs in the future and if I have anything to say about it, we will be getting Noveske's rifles.

Beautiful! Let us know how it shoots! Is the N4 barrel polygonal? I know its made out of that super-duper fancy-schmancy machine gun barrel steel with the extra thick chrome....I am jealous!

It does not appear to have polygonal rifling. If it does, it is very subtle. It will be at the range within the week for a good wring out. It arrived at the FFL while we were at the range today. Grrrrrrr.

BTW, how do you like the KX3 on the Infidel? They area a real beast to be close to. Especially the SBRs! It'll knock the fillings out of your teeth.

Shooting it outdoors its quieter than an A2 flash hider to my ears. But I'm the one shooting it. Maybe my ears just aren't as good as they used to be though.

Very Nice :hand10:
and now I am officially jealous....
(I just picked up a DPMS Lite 16)
not quite the same level of acquisition, but many of the local deputies are putting them in their cruisers as patrol rifles - and I got it for a good price....:smiley2:
