Found and purchased a Romanian SAR1

I went to my other favorite FFL dealer, and decided to hang out there for a little while today. Amongst the huge rack of rifles and shotguns,I found a Romanian SAR1 AK-47. I know these things are pretty rare, so I had to grab it. It has a bit of rust on the bolt itself, but its an AK, it'll fire with or without rust. This will be my second AK rifle.

SARs are nice! here is my 2000 SAR-1 dressed as a mid 60s used Russian AKM:



The wood, pistol grip, mag and sling cost more than the rifle it's self, and the worn look can be reversed with a new paint job.

The SAR-1 that I got had horrible trigger slap or trigger rebound. I found out that I liked the rifle so I invested a few bucks in it and got a new trigger group from Red Star Arms. That got rid of the trigger slap and made my SAR-1 a lovely treat to shoot. I'm thinking about getting another one soon.
