She's a beauty. Did you build it, buy, what did you use, etc?

That is a nice tool, but that mag is too short. You need to come down here so you can put some normal capacity mags in it...

I have the same gun, except with a picatinny quadrail forend (that's the one in the photo on the bottom w/ iron sights). GREAT gun...time to invest in some bigger mags.
And not to split hairs here, but if you're going to name her, do her the justice of spelling D-E-V-A-S-T-A-T-I-O-N correctly. Sorry if that makes me a special kind of jerk to point that out, but my English background couldn't let it slide!
Congrats on your new baby!

Going to Texas in May. Will be buying some of the big mags and bringing them home with me. NY has such lame laws.
I have a 16" DPMS .308. Great rifle and fun to shoot. It's my 3 gun heavy metal rifle.
Enjoy yours!
Dave
Nice looking rifle! Is that butt-stock pinned or collapsible? Is that comfortable to shoot in the .308? I think I'd rather have the full stock on one like that.
It IS comfortable, Ram. However, there is some "squirreliness" to it, and I will be switching to a fixed-stock very soon. That stock just has too much wiggle to it! Something about injection-molded nylon means an ill fit, and unless the collapsible stock is machined aluminum or some such material, it will always be sketchy.
Fine for .223, but in .308 we all need a sturdier base.
