Well here it is kids! I put the lower receiver together this morning:

    Specs:

    DS Flat Top Upper
    DS Picatinny Gas Block
    16 1x9 Crowned Chrome-Moly Match Barrel
YHM 2 Piece Rail Hand Guard
    6-Position DS-4 Butt stock
Hogue Rubber Over Molded Pistol Grip
    DS Two Stage Trigger
    DS MilSpec Lower
Burris Fast Fire Red Dot Reflex Sight

I'll probably get a sling for it soon, I'm thinking I'll probably also need that red dot to come up a about an inch so if anyone knows a place to get some sort of riser block for it or can recommend a good way to mount a sling on the front let me know!

Well went and sighted it in today...

One of my magazines isn't working if you load over 10 rounds in it for some reason it jams the next round in between the bolt like this /, kinda scared me since it was the first magazine. The other two work excellent. The gun cycled perfectly and didn't have one hiccup. One of my trigger pins on the sear section tries to back-out but I'll have that fixed tonight.

I really love the Burris Fast Fire, The red dot was perfectly adjusted for when the clouds came over or when it was super bright out, it automatically adjusts. It also stayed locked on position and I will not need to raise it up any so that's good too. The gun is accurate as heck.

Picture of it with my Kershaw Blackout:

I've noticed a lot of you have mentioned that you recently acquired your rifles. I'm in the same boat, but I'm wondering if this is a sign of the times? But I digress...

    LWRC M6A2 (SRT) 16.1" 5.56
Magpul CRT stock and MIAD grip
    EoTech 512

There's a sling, BUIS, and magnifier in her future, but not much else. Maybe a tripod, but I havn't decided.

That's how I'd like to get mine looking, especially the hand guard and grip. I got a riser block for my scope which makes sighting the scope super quick. And hey, we're practically neighbors!

I recently read that the AR type rifle is the best selling rifle now. Just look at how many companies are producing them and the companies that are producing atttachments for them. I recently picked up an AR-10T to go with my Bushmaster .223 because I'm not sure I'll be able to very long after the election. I'm also thinking about getting my own bullet making set up. I figure that even if they don't ban the guns they might ban the bullets to where we cannot purchase what we want.

Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics, but it's all I've got right now.

    Yep, it's the Franken-AR.

Target was engaged from 200 yards. Note to self: 8 clicks up at 200.

Just some anonymous 80's-era police silhouette target model. Farther down, in his right hand, there's a J-frame revolver.
