I sure wanted to go to the Wannamacher gun show last weekend but just couldn't do it. I've been working on my AR-10T and getting it like I want.

I carry a Colt Delta Elite 10mm in Milt Sparks VM2 with 2 extra magazines on my belt. This is normally worn on a belt under my bib overalls and works great for me. My wife carries a Walther PPS .40 w/Crossbreed holster.

How do you like the Magpul PRS with the monopod? And which monopod are you using?

I love the Magpul PRS and it was the first thing I purchased for the AR-10 after I picked it up. I've got the Accu-Shot Precision Mono-Pod version that fits on the built in Picatinny Rail under the Magpul stock. Since I've got the mid range Harris bipod I've got the longer monopod and it works great off the bench. I can't understand how I got along without it. It's also got the quick adjust button that works great for setting up quickly.

Ridurall, that is one beautiful weapon.

I wonder, though, do you really need the tactical flashlight on a 500yd sniper weapon?

    Is that a flashlight...or a laser?

It's a green laser and it's just there for giggles. I picked it up at a gun show a couple of weeks ago for a good price and decided to see what it looked like. It looks "tacticool" but it's not staying there. I was messing around and have no intention of using it. Also with the free floated handguard it will not keep a zero. It would work fine for a man at 100 yards but that is about it. I'll probably put it on a 22 magnum when I get done fooling around with it on the Armalite. By the way thank you for the complements.

This has to be the most amazing resuscitation of a dead thread I've seen on any forum. I do find it amazing that between 11/2008 and yesterday this thread has been dead. I think more AR's have been sold or built in that time then in the previous 15 years.

You're right. Lots of AR have been built since then. Rather than post the same ole stuff, here one I built today. A 9.5" .300 Blackout upper on a Bushmaster lower. Very accurate and compact.
Soon to be very quiet when I integrally suppress it.

Yeah I was just browsing around and figured that between 2008 and now someone besides me bought an AR15 on here so I gave it a shot. Hopefully this monster will regain its full power

It is quite a ressurection but at least it's a pic thread and not a 'what gun should I get' thread. Pic threads like this should be stickied.

Gun porn is always worth resurrecting! Glad he did too. I never would have seen this thread. I love looking at everyone's different builds. I'll post some pics of my m4gery when I get a chance.

Jonconsiglio, that is a nice looking piston gun. How would you rate the recoil/control on that gun's 6.8 vs a regular ole 5.56? I want one but have never been lucky enough to shoot one.
