I suddenly have this feeling that I need to buy more AR-15's.
Note to self: Evil Black Rifle for Christmas.

The phrase "hanging crap" in a recent AR thread reminded me, I just got a light mount for my AR in the mail Saturday![]()
The Dpms is the one with the magpull moe tan furniture, the other is a RRA Elite Comp that have personally drilled a dime size target 10 rounds straight off the bipod. It has a nikon BDC 3-9 mounted on it. Both are set up with badger ordinance tac latches and if you haven't installed one yet you need to, I can charge either rifle by simply swiping my off hand down the left side of the receiver. The YHM Folding front sight gas block was an addition to the dpms but came stock on the Rock, a very nice gas block setup. I love my rifles!![]()
before and after new paint I finished today, also added Troy 13'' rail, and T1 in Larue QD
before
after (more suited for the area im in)
still shoots like a dream

I posted this on another forum so I figure I'd post here as well -
I'm moving away from AFG's and Magpul MS2's (for some of the time and will move away completely when I convert one of my VCAS slings to a convertible with new hardware). Have a LaRue FUG on the way and am looking to trade KAC and Gear Sector handstops for another one or two. For now, I'm running the Gear Sector vert grip and a couple Tango Down stubbies until I decide what I want to go with. I don't like the Tango Downs as much as I did a few years ago.
Sorry for the crummy cell phone pics. Believe it or not I'm actually an accomplished photographer (in my former life) and have 2 Nikon D3's and a number of Nikkor lenses. Just too lazy to get them out!

Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe
Well, here is my AR...and a couple of it with it's older cousin my AK (WASR 10) for added fun....

On the way to the range... and the increasingly popular "AR riding shotgun" shot.

^^^^ that's one of the best looking AR's in existence. It's like a racecar. It's functionality makes it look so good.
Here's more of mine. I moved the front grip outward for better control. Also took advantage of the space in front of the front sight. Even with the light there, I still have use of the holosight, even the iron sights. Only had my AR for about a year, so I'm still configuring it to my likings. Though, it's pretty close to exactly how I want it. I'd like to get an ACE M4 SOCOM stock, but that's later...
