Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe

I cannot for the life of me decide between a VFG or AFG. The thing is it doesn't change the way I grip the rifle hardly as all. I still use a thumb break method with my thumb reaching over top in front of the front sight with both grips. It's honestly, more of an aesthetics thing. One week I'll prefer the look of the AFG, the next a VFG. And again, this doesn't change anything with my grip or shooting experience. Am I an idiot for this. I feel like I am. Yeah, I am. I have to be.

    vs

Yeah, it's Tapco. Laugh if you want :D it's just a VFG. if it breaks..... it's JUST a VFG. And it was $20 and works just as well as a $347897023958 LaRue.

But seriously.... Right now it's got the AFG on it.

I spoke with Monty a few times when I was sourcing the parts for that but he was too busy.

High Caliber Sales built that upper and Kevin at HCS is amazing to work with. They're located in Crane, IN and his business partner used to work for NSWC. Blanks are from Douglas and I heard that Gene Barnett still turns the barrels for HCS. Pretty close to the real deal
