I just bought a brand new (still in box) Norinco 98 12ga. It has both a bead sight and a Hi-Viz sight. I noticed after I got it home last night that the threads on the bead sight protrude very slightly into the bore. If I run my finger tip around the inside of the bore I can feel a very small bump. Is this likely to cause a problem?

I would file down the bottom of the sight until it is flush with the bore.
If it hangs down far (not just a bump) it can cause problems
