    "Small" shotgun case for travel?

I will be flying to the East Coast next week then driving back (long story). Anyway, I have searched the internet and cannot find any kind of small case for carrying a shotgun that is broken down. Yes, there are cases out there for that but none small enough to fit in a large suitcase. I have a pistol rip on my 18" Mossberg but can find zero of any case to hold this that can be locked (for the airlines). Anybody out there have an idea?
    tx!!

You could consider putting the receiver, grip, bolt, trigger assembly, etc.. in a locked pistol case and just putting the barrel in the suitcase. I'm pretty sure that would be legal, but you'd need to double-check the laws.

    Just a thought.
