Since you say 25-35 yards max, I'm not sure if you're looking for an actual illuminated scope or a red-dot type of device but in either case, you might want to take a look at the Mueller Optics products. I don't have one personally, but a friend has one of their Eraticator scopes that he thinks is great.

This is the least expensive night vision scope that Midway has on their web site and it's a first generation. If you want a third generation, they get a little more expensive. You might also look at Optics Planet.

Though a shade more expensive, you may want to look at this model. Red on green ATN.

Are you asking about illuminated reticle or night vison?

Okay, mismatch here, night vision scope on a 10/22 for such short range in that price range? A real mismatch; and what can you/would you hunt at night at such close range with a .22? Sorry, not polite to ask such questions. I doubt you can get any kind of workable night vision scope for your price point.

At 25 yards, a good flashlight will illuminate them fine!
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Can you hunt varmints in Pennsylvania after dark? And if you're planning on getting them within 25-35 yards...put a good tactical gunlight on your 10/22 & use any scope you want. There'll be plenty of light to see 'em.
