You can order them directly from CMMG:

I definitely want 16" barrel with mid-length gas system. However, every stripped barrel I look at doesnt tellme specifically it is mid-length system. Actually, most say CAR or M4 barrel. Is this what I want? Something tells me it isnt.
I am looking at DPMS and Del-Ton right now, but those are the ones I am not sure about.
I know RRA and CMMG make definite mid length barrels, but I cannot find anyone anywhere that sells them or has them in stock.
The barrel, gas tube, gas block and sights are the only items left for me to finish my AR-15 and I am getting very frustrated

I believe you need a specific Mid length barrel so the gas port/front sight base is in the correct location.

You'll know it when you find one because it will specifically say "mid length", not to mention it will just look different (less barrel sticking out past the gas block) I would keep looking. They are out there. I know Sabre Defence makes them for one. I would look over on Bravocompanyusa.com pkfirearms.com gandrtactical.com rainierarms.com
Are you using a railed forend? If not be sure to get mid length handguards.
Hope this helps
Have you tried calling Del-Ton? I have ordered from them several times and have had THEM call ME to verify details of my oder. They are very friendly and will be more than glad to steer you right.
Building off what aus said, the barrels will usually say if they're set up for a mid-length gas system; I can't think of any off hand that come as mid-length but aren't labeled such. If it says M4, it's almost guaranteed to be carbine-length. Bravo Company USA is a great company making one of the best uppers on the market, but their uppers are always sold out (not sure if they have a waiting list). Sabre Defense is also a good one, but are getting pricey.

Bam! There are three for you. Lots of options out there - these are quality barrels - not as cheap as some of the kits, but the barrel is the heart of an AR. Plus, if you've been waiting for a while, you'll have a little extra money saved up. Good luck!
