Optics/sights suggestions needed

I know that with optics you generally get what you pay for, the big names, like leupold and trijicon that cost a bundle tend to be the best, and the $25 no namer from China tends to be junk.

So, knowing this I am posing this question. I've always been interested in putting some glass/better sights on either my Mini-14, or my WASR (both of their stock sights leave something to be desired). With my stimulus check coming, I'll have a bit of extra cash available that I could use to update one or both of them. So, does anyone know of some decent glass or sights say for under $100 for either of them? Or will I have to shell out the big bucks on them?

If it won't work out, I'll accept that, just lookin at options.
