I have a question for all you Mossy Lovers out there. I want to purchase a 20 gauge Mossberg and was wondering if I can purchase pistol grip and tactical light separate for any of the mossberg series?
Is it cheaper to buy these extra add-ons compared to buying it already on Shotgun? I also want to buy 20 gauge with short barrel so my wife and kids need to use it...

Can anybody tell me what I've got?
I recently picked up another Remington 870 to use for HD in order to set my Express Magnum free to chase bunnies again.
It is OD green with a black Speed Feed stock and and forend, and has the Wingmaster roll mark. The vent-ribbed barrel is about 24 inches and is also OD. The bolt, slide, mag-tube, are all OD. It is definately not an express. It has a metal trigger-guard. The serial # ends with "M". I'm wondering if that has significance.
It is in great used condition and very, very smooth - like a wingmaster should be. The finish seems factory and is smooth, non-reflective, OD green. I was considering painting it, but thought I'd try to learn more about what exactly this package is first. Is it a tactical model? Military model? Just a green Wingmaster? I don't know, but I like it.

I can't tell from the pictures, but the Remmy is OD green and not Parkerized?

Yep, it is not parkerized and is definately not an express. It has a smooth finish, metal trigger guard, and Wingmaster roll mark

That looks like the same color. My camera doesn't really pick it up indoors.

Boy, you got me, I don't think I've seen one set-up the why yours is? I'd be very interested in finding out more about your 870 too.
