CD's thread started with this sentence. It got me thinking. Do you grab your shotgun on your way out the door? Is that over the top? I always take mine when I travel any distance here in the desert. But everyday?
Not usually, simply because I don't want to leave it locked in a vehicle if I'm not in it. When I go places that I'll be staying overnight or something, it has made some of those trips.

No, but then again, one is waiting for me when I get to work. I might take a carbine with me on a road trip, but I've only done that a handful of times for defensive purposes.
No, but on a longer trip, I take extra sidearms and plenty of ammo.

No I don't like leaving guns in cars at least a handgun is more concealable
Cross-country trips, the Benelli has come with me. Now that I have an AR-carbine, that will give my wife something to shoot.

Sometimes depends on where im going. On my last trip to Key West yes I did. I put the pistol grip on it and stuck it in my suitcase.
Nope. Mine never leaves the house. Unless I am taking it to the range to put some rounds through it.
