I am trying to recall, but have some rusty memory, that there was a wartime Delisle that was a suppressed gun.? Or am I thinking of a Lanchester - geez, my firearm's history is so spotty.
Your memory is good, P95 - back up to a page before the one I linked here, and you'll see the other replicas they offer. There is an original-styled Delisle that has a real or replica suppressor, and then a modernized version.

I just wish I could find a nice, small, semi auto in .45 ACP. Wonder why there are so many in 9mm and .40 and so few in .45. They're all pistol cartridges so while comparative performance might vary, their performance relative to other long guns is gonna be substantively the same. Dunno. There are still a few Marlin Camp .45s around. May just go get one of those and be done with it.

    Best,
    Jon

There's just way more guns available in 9x19 than there are in .45 ACP period.

Just about anything you can build in 9x19 you can build in .40 S&W, so there you go.

I used to know a guy who had a class 3 45 auto caliber AR carbine with 3 shot burst capability and a Gemtech silencer.

Now that would be a hell of a camp gun.

I own a 1927A1. They're not camp guns, clocking in at 13ish pounds unloaded. They're also way too expensive to be dragged around unless you really want to be Roland.

Don't get me wrong, I love mine, but it's an expensive range toy.

I'd go to field with almost anything else first.

UMP magazines are available, however they arent easy to find. One thing to keep in mind is the parts count. One way to get around the parts count is to form 1 it into an SBR.

There are conversion kits available for the USC to use grease gun mags, but it could be a chore finding them nowadays as well.

Guess ya could look into a Mac 10 or 11 in semi auto. Wouldn't think they would be real accurate though.
