Has anyone ever seen one of these? I saw it on future weapons and thought it was awsome. Are these even available to the public?

No there not available to the public from Knights Armco.
Word on the street within the community that is tasked with using them is that is is a POS. I've never laid hands on it so I don't and cannot repeat those that have and any of their experiences with the M110 SASS rifle system.
It's basically the SR-25 with some modifactions to the stock, trig, barrel and sound suppressor. SEALs and SF have used both the SR-25 and the smaller Mk12 system in 5.56. for some time.
Why is it a POS ? Again, you'd have to listen to some of the end users that it was intended for as I haven't fired the weapon.
If Knights sold it to the public, it would no doubt run $12,000-$15,000 with all of it's components. You can build a similar system with all the right components. You could possibly even purchase the suppressor from Knights if you wanted one bad enough, but their suppressors are expensive and there are others in .308 that will cost you less and achieve the same sound reduction and flash suppression as the Knights.

Looks like a glorified AR10,I don't see where the capabilities would be anymore than a match grade AR10 since they fire the same cartridge

This one, the M110 SASS has a one piece monolithic rail type upper, which is different from the SR-25/Mk11 that used the Knights RIS system over a match grade barrel. It's an improvement, but not really that ingenious since Lewis Machine Tool came out with their one piece monolithic rail platform a couple of years ago. It's the best upper/rail system on the market. Knights just copied the same idea and put it into this platform. The whole "Free float" system without having to add a rail system.
