Yes indeed! They ran $299 or $399 with Surefire Tactical touch-switch fore-end and Side-Saddle.
I like nice wooden stocks too, but for a tactical gun, resin/plastic is OK too.

We have a couple of shotguns, mine is a Remington 870, my dad has a Remington also, its a 12G but I do not recall the model. They are both great guns.

Very very few people I've shot with or taught combat shotgunning to knew how to shoot a shotgun, even those who swore up and down they were near experts at it. The folklore of the shotgun is so widespread, it darn near has become fact.
Absolutely. Done right=
- Youth stock 11-13" LOP, shorter is better. Unless the receiver is actually against your face, it's not too short.
- Good recoil pad (that is included within the overall LOP). I like KickEeze, YMMV.
- BIG WHITE DOT up front, either a bead, GR or wide-rear notch rifle-sight.
- 12 gauge. Non-magnum loads. Lead shot.
There may be some different tweaks, but this basic profile works, and works well. In the sense that 20g uses the same force to propel a lighter paylod, the recoil is less, but if one does not shoot 3" mags, the difference is far less significant, and parts and ammo in 12g are more common and cheaper.
