I've got the exact same setup in a Bushie...now go get that EO Tech to finish it off.

    Nice choice.

no EOTech in the near future...I tapped out to get this as it is.

So, it will stay like this for a while...just buying mags and ammo.

So...when you gonna shoot it? Don't forget to share your first experiences with us. You see, that's some of the reason some of us just keep buying guns....for that first time feeling. If those of you who've bought new/first time guns and post the play by play on your experience with them, it saves us some money in the long run and helps us suppress our habit for a time. You'll be helping out the forum as a whole if you just write down all those feelings you get the first time you take your new AR 15 out for a range session. Have fun and be safe!

I can definitely relate to that.....it's best you sight it in and shoot it with open sights for a while anyway. I had to revert to using my open sights on my AR last week as the red dot was off by 4" high and to the left. Since you've got the removeable carry handle, might I suggest a couple of more frugal purchases like a 1" riser mount and a rear BUIS and then perhaps a decent scope for the flat top before you go contemplating the big purchase of an EOTech. Oh---I'd like one of those myself, but the cost pretty much puts it way down on my list. Besides......I'm a firm believer in making any of your firearms field ready with low frills. Functional and dependable. What will you do when you've been 'out' for five days and your battery operated device fails you? Can you start a fire with an EOTech like a magnifying glass? Always start with the basics and a good foundation...that way optical aids with possible failure won't come as any surprise. Mags and ammo should top the list for the best reasons. Anything else would be trivial.
