    Thumbs up Great Day Shooting

I took my future Son-In-Law shooting with a new-to-him weapon platform: My MAK-90 as modified by me. As a Second Lieutenant in the Army National Guard, he was very familiar with, and qualified on, US Army long guns, but he'd never seen an AK up close and personal.

After a quick field strip at his request (to learn the mechanics), we went and blew through a bunch of ammo.

The orange vest is a safety measure out here on public lands given it is deer and elk season.

Great weather, great shooting, and a fun morning!

And yes, he out shot me!

But, I'm am much better with my Glock 26, so he is still and Officer and a Gentleman.

He still calls me "Sir" or "His Eminence".........

Any day spent at the range is a good day. A great day! Glad you fellas enjoyed yourselves, and I really like the looks of your rifle there. Have you posted about your mods to the MAK-90 here on the forum yet? You know a lot of us are enthused about other things besides concealed carry and pistols. I like gun porn period!

    Ram Rod:

    These are pretty complete descriptions:

Pictures aren't too good, but ya know, it's an AK

I wish the gov'mint would train all of our troops on 'other' weapons.
It is good experience for those 'you never know' scenarios.
Glad you had a good time with your S-I-L! Great bonding time.
