This gun has been heavily accessorized by somebody who knows exactly what he's doing. Nothing fru-fru here. No window dressings.

GG&G flip up rear sight in case the EO Tech dies unexpectedly.

Besides the big Sure Fire there are a pair of low volt LED lights that can be triggered as needed to guide my way in the dark without using the BIG white light which would act as a beacon as well as blow my night vision for much longer. There is a small compartment in the pistol grip for spare batteries.

The six position collapsible butt has an adjustable cheek piece, too. There are two more tubular compartments for more batteries, too. Just have to stuff some sound deadening material to achieve noise discipline.

This baby is built for battle. Close or far engagements. I pray with all my heart I can shoot it in the spirit of the military collector with fond memories of days past. I pray I won't have to call on my training (long dormant, now -- but always there) to activate so that me and mine can survive the unthinkable. Whatever the mission, this piece can handle the job.

    Remember, war is an acronym:

    We
    Are
    Ready.

    So far I have: A Double Star lower $78, 5 Pmags $65, Hogue pistol grip $16, and 100 rounds of .223 $40.
But wait there's more: On order from Model 1 Sales is a AR15 Standard rifle kit w/20" 5.56 SS barrel 1-8 and the A2 set up with Web sling & Pistol grip plug. $520.
    Total invested $719.

Can you change the pistol grip without taking anything else apart? I think the Houge is the way to go.
