So, I went to the Wannamacher show in Tulsa on Sunday and finally came home with an AR. I bought a DPMS lower for $170 and a 16" flat top upper kit. I also bought 2 Magpul PMAGs and an Osprey holograph red dot. And guess what......all that for LESS than $850! I finally got my AR and could not be happier. I shot it Monday and am NOT happy with the Osprey. I'll change that soon enough. I'll get pics up as soon as I figure out how. :hand10:

I have been contemplating getting an AR and with the current political situation I deceided to take the plunge and get one.
My wife actually agreed with me that it would be a good time, I almost fell over....
So I ordered my S&W M&P15T yesterday, it's my Veteran day present to myself, OK... Xmas and Bday present too.

The Osprey Holographic.
Not sure if it's a true holographic sight or not. :confused:
The retail price on them (even factoring in the all Chinese labor) seems too low for it to be a true Holographic.
I've seen them priced as low as $50.00 & change which (I Think) would put it more in the "illuminated red dot" price range rather than being a hologram sight.
They a new one to me.
Supposedly Made In China with all USA parts.
Some of their scope reviews are not too hot and they seem to have some QC issues with their red dot scopes.
If and when you decide to dump it or replace it - I'd like to take a first hand look at it - more out of curiosity than anything else - and will (of course) pay shipping costs both ways just to have a gander at it.
None of the gun stores anywhere near me stock them.
Sounds like a deal. To me, when adjusting the W and E the screws just seem to back out. No "clicking" or anything. I had the darndest time getting it sighted it. I would shoot about 5 rounds and it would be off again. I'll pm you when I figure out what I'm going to do.

Is that skateboard/friction tape I'm seeing? Looks like three bands on the forward grip and the mag well.
One of these days I need to shoot some pics of my M&P-15, somehow I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Haven't done pics of my 870 either - guess I've been slacking off.
