Euc, Apparently mtnbkr is correct in his above post and I was wrong. I contacted Bushmaster Firearms and the cust serv rep stated that you can build up a lower(pre or post ban) any way that you want to. The exception is ClassIII stuff and under 16" bbl. Otherwise "go for it". I stand corrected. -------

Well your concern is well founded. Laws are different everywhere. Texas has no provisions that will restrict me.

I understand that in PRK for instance only ARs with post ban uppers and single shot receivers are legal!

Yeah, people should still be concerned about all their state an/or local laws. Some of the more liberal states are,I'm sure, still trying to hang on to the more restrictive gun control laws. Some states are still mag crazy also. ------

RE: the trigger, I've read much about the debate between single and double stage, and this that and the other. Someone says he uses a double stage for 3 gun, and then the next guy says single stage is more versatile, and then everyone starts arguing...

For now I just want the plain old milspec trigger. I think you should learn to walk before you try to run and all that.

It's not so hard to replace it, after all.
Don't see the need for a 2 stage for a carbine, but you could always get a Chip McCormick or other match trigger.

I bought the Stag Upper from AIM, it is really nice and fit and finish are perfect. Most importantly, it is a great shooter. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Good luck.
