    Bad Range day

I went to the range yesterday to get my fix. Took my .Ar-223 and my new 5.45x39

My .223 went boom boom click...... Really stuck round. So I switched the upper to the new 5.45x39 It went boom click.. boom click...Boom...click..........And that was enough with that. I amtaking the ammo back to the store this week.

1 hour at the range and 5 rounds..........I hope that was the first and last day like that!!!

A new case of Wolf Military Classic. I hear that Wolf has a good warranty. I hope so. Because it sure sounds like I got a bad batch. The primers got hit good. They should have gone off.

My only complaints about Wolf ammo is that it's the dirtiest round I've ever fired, and my XD 45 doesn't like it. Never had any problem with my glocks, though.

my XD never had a problem with it. only thing i've found that it doesn't like is semi-wad cutters that we used to reload. had to go to 230 grain round nose

Yeah, but still, a bad day at the range is better than a good day at work.

Never had a misfire with the Wolf I have run through my AR's. About 1000+ rounds to count now. Are you running a wet , well lubed AR?

Not really. It was a new AR upper so I ran a bore snake through it a few times before I put it in use. I thought it might be the upper. But the primers really got a good hit, they were dimpled big time!! My friend who was there has shot thousands of Wolf rounds said it was bad ammo.

I had a guy at the gun range shooting some wolf .223 in a mini 14,the rounds looked like they had good primer hits but didn't fire until he ran them thru a second time, they may of had a batch of really hard primers

I talked to S&W. They said I might have to change out the hammer spring. That came with the upper. They said some people have had a problem because of Wolf's hard primers. I going to take it back out tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes....
