Bought my first firearm ever (pics galore)

turned 18 not long ago, and decided to buy myself a birthday present in the form of a WASR-10
here in Seattle, the price gouging is horrific, an AR15 consisting of a delton lower and dpms upper was the cheapest I could find in store, priced at $1100. Dont get me started on the prices of the Colt and LMT I saw. So my original idea of an AR15 went out the window. Then the store owner showed the the WASR 10. Id heard tales of plenty of problems in WASRs and checked it thoughouhly. I looked for canted front sights and gas blocks, and stock and mag wobble. Sights and gas block looked straight and the mag wobble wasnt toooo excessive. Finish was better than I expected. Anyways, it came with two 30rd magazines, a bayonet, small cleaning kit, sling, and mag pouch. All for $450 plus tax. I also picked up some CLP, two 7.62x39 snap caps, cotton bore patches, and a trigger lock.

I know all you really want is the pics so here ya go

    Awesome...welcome to the club...

my only question... did you spend more money for the trigger lock? if so... is there a law in Washington that requires it?

What is this "trigger lock" you speak of?!?! Looks like a good gun. You are absolutely correct; the price gouging here in the Seattle Region is horrible!!!!!!!!!!People are crazy....

haha knew id get some crap for the trigger lock. WA doesnt require it, but I dont have a safe available, wont be using it for home defense, and the lock was only $10.

The main reason I bought it is because I was not 100% sure I could buy such an "evil assault weapon" weapon later on. It will be used for target shooting primarily, possibly hunting, and of course zombie attacks/SHTF/EOTWAWKI.

Now if I could just find some cheap mags

GREAT first gun! I want one!

Trigger locks are available for free at most sheriff offices in Ohio.
