    Just about Done...

Well, I think that I am just about done with my Mossberg 500. I only have a couple more things that I am wondering about, but not sure what I will do. I am not sure that I like the remote switch setup for my light. The light works well and is nice and bright, but just not sure about the remote switch. Also, I am not sure about some kind of holder for extra ammo. I am not sure that I want to drill holes in my receiver, but not sure about other options either. I could just buy an ammo belt at Cabela's for $6 and be done with it.
    Any idea would be appreciated.
Anyway, here is a couple of pics I took this morning.

I want one like that !!!

Actually it will be my next purchase; either thismone ore the 870 depending on what I can find locally.
All my guns have been purchased through FFL dealers, I would like to have one bought from a private party, just in case.

Hope you have a second light so you don't have to aim at everything that needs illuminating. Looks good, is that a custom ar15 butt/grip addition?
    Yoda, I am, yes.

Isn't that kind of awkward with the safety on top like that?

Think that's one of the great features compared to the 870. Safety on top close to where your thumb would rest for quick access.

    Great looking setup!

Not if you don't use it.

I have a 500, but still like the Winchester Defender 1300.

That's why I still have the original stock on my 500. The exendable stocks are cool but I don't like having to move my hand to turn my safety on and off. Since I keep one in the chamber on my shotgun I like to be able to flick the safety off real quick.

    .

The most popular one, called the "SideSaddle" uses the existing pinholes. They come with longer pins to mount the saddle. You do not have to drill any holes.
