    4rth click for most shooting, 3rd for shooting where I know I'll be moving around and shooting. Forces me to get tighter to the gun and allows me to keep my center of gravity where it should be a lot easier.

    I can make 2nd work, but all the way in is WAY too short for me.

    I run mine the same as you. Second click. Nose to the charging handle. I've also only got iron sights on mine. Not sure if that makes any difference or not as I've never had optics on it.

    I don't have optics yet either. Will be getting an Aimpoint when tax time comes around in a few months.


    I knew this was going to be an individual thing, just wanted to see what everybody was using, and for discussion mostly.

    I shoot with my Emod on position 3.

    I chose it by shouldering the gun and making the stock short enough to shoulder the gun without having to push it out away from my body. Of course it's pinned in that position permanently now thanks to NY laws.

    All the way out for Iron sights, 3 clicks out for red dot optics.( this is on a 4 posit. stock.)
