    BUIS Question

I was wondering if anyone has experience with UTG TACTICAL FLIP-UP REAR FLAT TOP RIFLE SIGHT MNT-951 and the Front sight MNT-751 ?

The price I found seems a little low so I was wondering about quality.

If anyone has these, how high is the sightline above the mounting rail?

    Thanks..

Never tried them . Another option , for a similar price you can find Yankee Hill machine sights that I know are sturdy and work.

I bought a cheap UTG to use with my 553 EOTech until I had gotten the money together for a *good* BUIS, after using it for several months, I stopped looking for a *better* BUIS.

Does that mean that you were/are satisfied with the UTG?

If u still have it, what is the sight line height above the rail?

Yes Sir, very satisfied with the UTG. It looks to be about an inch and three quarters from the base of the sight to the top of the peep, it took no adjustment to work perfectly with the fixed front on my 6920.

I'm sorry Yoda, there maybe a difference in height.
I had a brain fade, my UTG is a Model MNT 95RS02-B.

I use the Yankee Hill Machine flip up rear sights on both of my flat tops. I have a thing for fixed front sights...

I had a UTG fixed rear sight, not the flip version, and it seems ok as far as build but it sat "canted" on my flat top. It was as if it had been milled incorrectly and was canted to the left.

I wanted the flip sight at one time, but after purchasing the fixed sight I decided just to spend my money on YHM instead.

I have Troy BUIS on my AR - I'm building some for my kids and I'm using the LMT rear sight.

I thought UTG was an airsoft company? If their sights work and you only shoot paper, I don't see how it makes any difference though. I'm a buy once cry once kind of guy though. Just my two cents.
