    Need opinions on shotgun

I have been kicking around the idea of buying a Mossberg 500 bullpup.

Can use some pros and cons from who ever has one.

I like the look of the EBS (Evil Black Shotgun). It holds 5+1 were as my Mossberg 500A has 2+1.

Thank you in advance for all comments good or bad.

If I do change my mind I'm also looking at a Mossberg 590.

You can remove the plug from your Mossberg 500A and increase the capcity to 5+1 rounds. Save the plug and reinsert it when you go bird hunting.

    I would skip the bullpup

I was gonna look at one. I talked to a guy who had one, said it put alot of pressure on the wrist when you held the pistol grip, and wasn't fun to shoot in 12 gauge.
I bought a winny defender instead. The defender has the speed-pump which makes it incredibly fast to fire and reload (pump).

If you just want the capacity, I would save the money and just take the plug out of what you have. You can get some nice black plastic bits to replace that ugly wood if you so desire, and spend the rest on ammo!

Sights really suck. Actions is gritty, even for a Mossy. Trigger pull is like releasing ViseGrips with your trigger finger.

These things can be improved, but it's significant time, if not a lot of money. I would really question the guy who found it "punishing" to shoot, as the stock and internals around the core 500 add about 4 pounds to the gun. I found it relatively pleasant, with 3" slugs and 00 buck, but the overall weight made it a PITA.

Unless you just want a cool collectible, I'd pass.
