Shorter LOP for my 870 Tactical
Youth stock or something else ? Got a new 870 Tactical 12 ga. for Christmas. Shot fine, but the stock(with built-in pistol-grip..think SWAT entry gun!!)is too long. Would like something in the 12'' LOP range, presently it's 14" I believe. SUGGESTIONS ???? THANKS!!

M4 style
They make six position M4 style stocks for most shotguns.

More my style
I am more about the low and slow; wood fire and smoke. I do venison until I run out then larger pieces like pork butts or beef brisket; then when I get desparate I sometimes do whole poultry. It is realy more of a hobby because it is no way to fix a fast meal, but, when the fire is hot I'll through on a burger for ya.
Cheers

Ya and looks like "they" have annointed his socialist goofball son as our senator in the next elections. All in all though this is a pretty good state as far as individual freedoms.

Does anyone make an adjustable-length butt stock without a pistol grip? I haven't found one yet.

Old Grunt, You could also look at the Hogue Overmolded Youth Stock that is very nice and has a 12" LOP. I just installed one on my 870 and love it. Just the right length and very good quality. Here's what it looks like.

Good luck,

the six position M4 style stocks are great on the 870. i put one on one of my 870's and i love it. it is better than the remington factory folding stock and much better that others that i have used.
