Need a light barrel clamp link.

I have three SD shotguns, all with plastic clamps for flashlights. I don't like them. They are cheap (but expensive!) hunks of plastic. Anyone have a link or name for an all metal clamp? Surely there must be one out there. Thanks!

Look at the TacStar clamps. I believe they are made of steel.

Hoss, all the ones I have seen are plastic.

I'm going by the product description:
Add versatility to any gun with these universal flashlight mounts. Two-piece precision machined mounts fit firearms from 22 Caliber to 12 Gauge. Mounts clamp on securely and easily.

    Material: Steel

    Color Blue

    Notes:

Attaches flashlight to barrel on firearm.
Doesn't sound like plastic to me.

PRI, DSA for clamp-on rails. Try GG&G for the mount. Look up the websites yourself; time is short, and one of my wrists is not so well today.

Exsqueeze me, Hoss. When I tried your link an hour ago, it came up blank. Googled Tacstar clamps and all the ones I saw were plastic. Hit your link a minute ago and, sure enough, came up and they were metal. Thanks!

Yea, I don't know what's going on with Midway. Their web site has been the pits for getting through the last few days. I had checked TacStar's web site before my original post and while they don't actually say steel on their web site, they do say "precision-machined mounts" which says metal to me as I'm not sure you would machine plastic parts. You may want to call and confirm before you order.
