    I held one and for me; it was unbalanced, seemed like it would be awkward to reload, and the forward grip would feel a lot better if it were at a 90 degree angle rather than the pistol grip. That said, I didn't shoot it but I'd stick to a traditional configured shotgun. YMMV

    If it was furnished with a drum magazine I would like it lots better.

    It's a Mossy 500 in a clamshell frame, with a trigger transfer bar. Available for +/- $350 about 10-12 years ago. Trigger is as gritty as 100 grit paper and heavy. Sights are great...if you can sight using a 3/16" square rear channel and a 5/32" front, all in black. Action is rough, even for Mossberg.

    It can be worked into something pretty nice, but not for $650 for the base gun...

    I sold mine about a year ago. Another of my increasing list of mistakes.

    Perfect shotgun for HD.

    I don't remember having any issues with the action or trigger, just different.
