    Years ago before rifled barrels, I always used Brenneke slugs for deer. They were very accurate considering shot from a smooth bore. I never had a bad round and always got my deer. Left a nasty hole too. Now I shoot Sabots through a rifled barrel.

    Seriously, I used to use the Breneke low recoil slugs a lot and never had an issue with their quality.
