    Smile New Shotgun

I picked up a Mossberg 500 the other day.

I managed to avoid being in to much trouble with the wife once I explained that it was really for her and that I was concerned about her safety when I wasn't home.

I use the same line all the time. That or I buy two and let her choose hers.

You will love that knoxx stock!!!! I wish I had gotten mine sooner. Makes for much more enjoyable shooting.

Unfortunately it's not a Knoxx stock it's the ATI that comes from Mossberg. I would like a Knoxx though, after a light and some better sights for it.

The "But Honey it's for you" line worked this time. When the AR lower shows up, then I'll be in trouble. And when the M&P 40 compact that's on layaway shows up I'll be in real trouble.

She says I'm paranoid, I told I'm concerned. When I start digging trenches in the front yard and stringing concertina wire then she can say I'm paranoid.

I hope I don't sound nosy, but how much did you pay for it?

... it's for you, darlin', as are the two cases of 1000rds of ammo. All for my training toward protection of you and your safety.

Don't worry about being nosy. I picked it up for $475. I probably could have found it a little cheaper if I ordered it from somewhere. But instant gratification is nice and it was the only one close to me in stock.

    Mossberg 500 Sights

I have the same. Any thought given to sights for this? Mossberg makes Ghost Ring Sights for the 500/590 but says it requires a gunsmith.
