OK, no messing around this time!
My wife told me to get an AR-15 for my birthday and I screwed around and lost the chance before they went up in price.
Last night I told her a friend of mine is wanting $400 for his pre-ban Yugo AK47, and she told me to buy it
I'm not messing around this time and loosing this one.

Is it legal to do a FTF sale on a pre-ban rifle or do we have to use an FFL? He has a friend who will do the FFL transfer for free, but if I can keep paperwork out of this sale I would rather go that route.

So long as you both live in the same state and there are no additional state laws on gun transfers, should be fine.
