    AR question for Colorado Residents

I've got a chance to go on a prairie dog hunt around of Trinidad, CO. and one of my dog rifles is an AR-15. I was wondering if Colorado had any restrictions on these evil black rifles or if I was good to go to take it as one of my shooters.

    Thanks,
    Hoss

Just don't take it out in Denver.

Denver has a restriction on anything with a magazine capacity greater than 21 rounds.

Aside from that you are fine.

Thanks for the quick response. Denver won't be a problem as we won't be anywhere close to it but just wasn't sure if the liberal crowd had gained enough of a foothold in the rest of the state to have any impact.

Hoss, you are cleared hot to the best of my knowledge. Like BlackJack said, just steer clear of the Denver/Boulder sprawl.

    We hope not!

Colorado has very few restrictions, and Trinidad is no exception.

Look here NRA-ILA :: for a quick summary, as well as here:Handgunlaw.us

    Have fun!
