    I shoot 3" mags and prefer not to use a pistol grip, I am hearing good things about "Limbsavers" recoil pads and plan to try them out.

    Knoxx is the way to go for pistol grip only. Definitely worth the money. The cop stock has a wire folding stock which you can take off.

    Had one of their older model grip on my 870 "Raids" gun in 1990. After several days on the range with it I took it off and trash it. Went back to the Remington police folding stock that came with my gun. Looks good but not for the job. I took a beating with it.

    I see no point in having a pistol grip on a shotgun.

    Aiming is more difficult, and the recoil sucks, and ya cant bash someone withought a stock.
