Sad day 4 the 'bones.
Was a hard one....I had to sell my beloved rifle. My SA M1A SocomII...is no longer mine:frown:.
BUT it wasn't without.....it will help pay for the last semester for my wife's schooling. She will be the bread bringer after she finishs in December...:image035:
So I see it as from one investment to another...still sucks though. I know it will be a WHILE before I can own such a rifle, will have to pay off school loans before I can buy my main rifle back.
For now, I have a Norinco SKS and a 870 Express 18inch for my long guns..... guees I can live without.:scruntiny:
I still have two 20rnd mags and over a hundred rounds of .308, and a Harris bi-pod I will sit on until I get another M1A.
*walks off kicking at small rocks*
Did you at least sell it to a buddy, so you can get conjugal visits?
too bad, at least it went for a good cause

I respect you for what you did, supporting your wife's pursuits. Besides, I figure another one will ultimately find it's way into your gun safe .
Awww man, you did good bro! I don't know if I could have done that myself. You are a better man than I. Hopefully it will come back to you 10 fold! :hand10:
That is a sad day. Keep your chin up.
She better be bringing home straight A grades for your sacrafice...........:gah:
Her next job better be a good one for you to have to sell a gun.
Im sure you're very proud of her though.
Sorry to hear about that man.
School is important so, you did the right thing with
the wife. Better days will be ahead
Can we get a moment of silence please........
The wheel turns, the circle is unbroken, you did well. An education is more valuable than a rifle. A rifle can be taken away. An education can't.
You'll be able to get another. It is in your future.
You made an 18% profit too. Not bad!
