    Sad day 4 the 'bones.

Was a hard one....I had to sell my beloved rifle. My SA M1A SocomII...is no longer mine.

BUT it wasn't without.....it will help pay for the last semester for my wife's schooling. She will be the bread bringer after she finishs in December...

So I see it as from one investment to another...still sucks though. I know it will be a WHILE before I can own such a rifle, will have to pay off school loans before I can buy my main rifle back.

For now, I have a Norinco SKS and a 870 Express 18inch for my long guns..... guees I can live without.

I still have two 20rnd mags and over a hundred rounds of .308, and a Harris bi-pod I will sit on until I get another M1A.

Did you at least sell it to a buddy, so you can get conjugal visits?

No no buddies like that here...yet. I moved from Houston so all my buddies that I'd trust are down there. SO no.

BUT I did make a $300 profit. Purchased for 1,700. Sold for 2grand. Still sucks...IT WAS MINE

I respect you for what you did, supporting your wife's pursuits. Besides, I figure another one will ultimately find it's way into your gun safe .

Her next job better be a good one for you to have to sell a gun.

Im sure you're very proud of her though.

The wheel turns, the circle is unbroken, you did well. An education is more valuable than a rifle. A rifle can be taken away. An education can't.

You'll be able to get another. It is in your future.

You made an 18% profit too. Not bad!
