For my wife. I did a bunch of Google searches, but nothing I found was recent. Does anybody know a link to anybody who has purple or pink AR furniture? I don't really want to use Duracoat, but it looks like the only option.

Cavalry Arms
They do runs of pink and purple furniture. Sets are $150 last time they had them. You'll have to get a hold of them to see if they have anything right now.

The girl at our local gun store has an AR with pink furniture. She just recently sent it out to have all the metal done in pink also...

Most of the colored stocks out there are Duracoated.I don't really want to use Duracoat, but it looks like the only option.
You might save money ordering some and doing it yourself.

If it gets people shooting, I'm all for it. I'd like to see someone compete with a pink or purple rifle and do well, just to spite everyone else.

How durable is the Duracoat on an AR stock. I figure I wouldn't want to use it on metal moving parts, but am I unnecessarily worried about it on plastic?

People use duracoat to refinish their entire gun all the time. I've heard the only thing more durable is baked on finishes.
