What are my options for a Rifle/Pistol?
I am thinking that I would like to buy a pistol/rifle, that I can later SBR and add a stock. I am not sure of my options for this.
What I mean (incase someone doesn't understand) is that I know the GSG5 Pistol will accept the MP5 stock (not sure of the details, but I saw pictures somewhere). Also the AK pistols can have the rear smooth trunion replaced with one that will mount a stock.
Like I said, I want to be able to SBR it later.
I have decided to go this route, instead of buying a full size rifle and having the barrel cut because the stock swap I can do myself, and I am guessing it would be cheaper than having the barrel cut, crowned and the gas sytem messed with, since the pistol would already have the gas system taken care of.
What are my options for a Rifle/Pistol that are capable of adding a stock easily later?
At this point I am indifferent as to rifle caliber or pistol caliber.
I like my solvent and my lubricant for my guns to rhyme, so I use Gasoline and Vasoline.

The ever popular AR15 pistols would seem to fit the bill.
Just make absolutely sure you don't own a stock that will fit it before you get the SBR paperwork done (whatever you buy). Our friends in the BATF consider that "constructive possession", and you can land in a world of hurt even if you never put the stock on the pistol.

AR-15 pistols, AK pistols, the GSG-5, SP-89 or clone (if you can find one), the B&T TMP from DSA Arms, or... a Glock pistol.

The Kel Tec 5.56 PLR pistol works just fine as an SBR. The full sized stock attaches without modification.

The SIG 556 would be great but they say you cant add a stock to it.
