    20 GA Buckshot Rounds

I am looking to pick up some 20 GA buckshot rounds to have for the house I am trying to decide between the 2 Buck or 3 Buck. Difference in pellet size I believe is .25 compared to .27.

I am also looking to see if you guys think there is a big difference in these different rounds for the price increase and which round would work the best or as good as any other round.

    Talking

Im a massive fan of Hornady ammunition.

Im honestly not sure if they make a 20g TAP FP Buckshot for personal defense but if they do I really love it. I have loaded in my Benelli in the closet next to the bed. (Soon to be swapped with a new AR)

    Rem #3

I have the Rem #3 Buck in mine. It patterned real well when I shot it so I'll probably stick with it.

For the house I have 3" number 4s. Even if a surgeon was there when I shot, take that to the chest and there is no waking up from that.

That's what I load my 870 Youth with. I use the 2.75" shells for a bit less recoil.

Found that round as well. Does either brand have an advantage over the other, the federal says it has wad cups to provide tighter shot pattern it that true or does it not matter.

+1. I found this load patterns the best in my Stoeger coach gun.
