edit" Also does anyone here have or use the Magpul MOE polymer handguard? I wonder if this is a good product and how does the rail(s) work out for you if you do use one?
I am not promoting this company in anyway and this is related to defensive rifle as a nicely modified carbine is a great contender for a reliably accurate home defense platform. Thanks.

Whenever they come back in stock (Magpul says "Soon"). There have already been a few batches of them. I've got one sitting in my toy box, but my rifle's out getting a paint job so I've nothing to attach it to yet.
The MOE handguards are viewed favorably by folks who own them. Just remember that they're not designed to be free-float handguards, just replacements for the original plastic handguards that have rail attachment points. As my light is mounted to the FSB and I don't have a vertical grip, I never felt the need to pick up the MOE to test it out myself.

MOE handguards are great - they are (at least for me) a more comfortable/ergonomic fit to my hands and they allow attachments points for the only two accessories I need on my two go to guns... A light and a swivel attachment.
The ASAP plate and MS2 sling have been released and can sometimes be found on eBay or Gunbroker for inflated prices... Magpul says more are coming...
