About LinkBacksI've been told (& I doubt) the following:
The SCAR-L (Mk 16) can use M4/M16/AR (5.56x45mm NATO) magazines.
The SCAR-H (Mk 17) can use FN FAL (7.62x51mm NATO) magazines.
Anyone know if either is true?

This isn't true. The SCAR-H uses a new magazine design. FAL mags rock in, the same way AK or M14 mags do. THey're not going to fit in the AR style magazine well on the SCAR.
